We're so proud and excited to celebrate our Executive Director and Founder receiving the "First Lady Tracy Burgess History Award 2025" at the North Charleston City Hall!

"I am truly honored to receive the First Lady Tracy Burgess Women's History Award 2025. As we celebrate the contributions of women past and present, I am reminded that our impact is measured not just in what we achieve but, in the lives, we touch and the paths we pave for others.
Through my work with The Palmetto Palace, I have witnessed firsthand the resilience of communities and the power of access--access to healthcare, education, and hope. The journey has not been mine alone. It has been built on the shoulders of those who came before me and strengthened by those who walk beside me.
This recognition is not just for me but for every woman who dares to dream, lead, and create change. May we continue to break barriers, uplift one another, and leave a lasting legacy for the next generation."
