We are proud to host South Carolina’s first Free Dental Day since 2017. This event brings a 45-chair mobile dental clinic to serve hundreds of uninsured, underinsured, and Medicaid patients—at no cost.

Free Dental Day will take place during the 4th Annual Orangeburg Day of Hope, presented in partnership with the Honorable Representative Gilda Cobb-Hunter.

Shuttle buses will be available between City Gym and Orangeburg County Fairgrounds.

We’re calling on dental professionals, medical support teams, and community volunteers to help make this event possible. Whether you are a dentist, hygienist, student, translator, or just someone ready to serve—we have a place for you.

Please sign up to select a shift and role that best fits your skills and availability. Meals, hospitality, and all necessary supplies will be provided.

The Urgent Need for Dental Access

In South Carolina, many adults and children suffer from untreated dental issues due to lack of access. At least 35% of our patient population is low-income, uninsured, or on Medicaid. This initiative addresses critical needs with dignity, care, and compassion.

 

Treatment includes:

  • X-rays

  • Exams

  • Cleanings

  • Fillings

  • Extractions

Gym Doors Open: 6:00 AM

Clinic Begins: 7:00 AM

Shuttle buses will transport all patients to the Orangeburg City Gym. Look for Patient Parking Signs at the fairgrounds.

Buses begin operating at 6:00 AM.
